I just got my SBC long block (350) and have a few questions. First, I have the Hooker conversion motor mounts, but I'm not sure witch block mounts work with these. The instructions say 76 Camaro, but there appears to be different styles on the Summit web site. I was thinking of trying the ones listed as ENS-3-1118R. Can someone tell me if these would work? Second, does it matter weather you get the tall or short valve covers? Last (for now), is it possible to keep the stock hood without needing a cowl. Thanks for any advice.

You will not need a cowl hood because of the v8 swap. You will need the cowl hood if you want it to look cool 8)  j/k As far as the valve covers go, it depends on what heads you plan on using! Sorry, cant help you on the motor mounts, as I built my own.

For the valve covers it depends. stock head/ valvetrain setup, no you can use either.
Yes you can keep a stock hood. unless you plan on running a tunnel ram or a huge air cleaner or something like that.

Those mounts should work. any particular reason you picked those?

You built the part that bolts on the motor and connects to the mounts from the frame?
