oh yeah! The add says the tranny is going out. I find that hard to believe, probly just a clutch. But i wont tell the guy selling it that :wink:

well i talked to the guys selling it. He doesnt know a damn thing about cars. :lol: So im thinking clutch definetly, he says it makes some noise, probly rivets into the flywheel. But it also needs paint, so we shall see...

aha! Now I understand. ;)

I dunno what parts will cross over, but I've got an 88 minus engine and trans that has a lot of nice parts still on it. You could get creative and swap the Lotus tuned 4 link from my 88 into it. :D

I'd look for two things:
Power windows that work, there is a plastic bit on the window regulator that often breaks. Parts are not available for it either.
Noise? Could be the rear axle, just like the luv 10 bolt the pinion nut likes to back off and make the bearings eat themselves. (I got a good one BTW)
