A conservative estimate would be 10% or a little better. So that means about 8-10HP. Depending on the health of the motor and other upgrades, it could be quite a bit more. A Weber and a header (or a cam) add up to more total than each adds alone.

hey I just bought a luv for parts and it is all original it has a few after market parts header new head cool valve cover aftermarket dist. and who knows what else i haven't herd it run yet i need a bat. and a fuel pump. but in stead of buying shit for it i'll probabley junk most of it . anyways my friend said it has an weber on the damn thing it looks very new or newly rebuilt can anybody tell me what one of these carbs look like or maybe a number to look for and how muck one is worth because i have never seen a weber so i really don't know what the hell i am lookin at. if it is a weber i will definatley sell it because i just need body parts. and i here alot of people talk about those carbs so if i have one i'm sure somebody will gladly take it off my hands. thx

well i pulled the head off of the donor truck and the damn thing has never ben ran looks like a fresh rebuild never crunk up. on the top of the piston all of them are stamped 0.060 so i guess it is bored alittle. i ran the numbers on the block and i think it is a g-200 out of an impulse but the numbers on the head came back as a g-180 and all the valves look brnd new. ifoung alot of paper work in the glove box and looks like the motor was profecinally built in 9-05 even found a reciept for a lunadi cam for a g-200 i don't know wether to sell this stuff or build a mean stocker. the lady i bought the truck from said her son has ben building this rig for about 2 years but he just passed due to a car accident i kina feel bad becouse all of the engine parts on this truck are new and i got the truck for damn nere free.

A 60 over bore on a g-200 with a G180 head on it would probably break 10:1 compression ratio. Hot combination to say the least. If it would run on premium pump gas, that motor would be fun. Sounds like we lost a luvtruck guru in the making and didn't even know it.
