SBC 283 and 327s are both internally balanced right? So the dampers can be interchanged I am guessing? I have a really small damper on my 283 that I pulled out of my truck and I want to put the small damper on my 327 if it will work.

You should be fine gabe, both the 283 and 327 are internaly balanced.. The 400 is the only stock one that isnt internaly balanced. The lighter the balancer the better normaly. Let me know if you need to borrow my puller or anything.
