They were a blast till you wore a hole through a tire. Then it was bump, bump, bump!

I had a Big Wheel. Same problem after too many slides.
My freind's little bro got the Green Machine after we were on bikes (a little older), and he was good on that thing! We would try it and hit everything. That rear steer just messed me up when going fast.

there's nothing like pedaling for all your worth and spinning that thing around and enjoying the sheer terror of being out of control... and the joy of riding it over to a friends house then killing a wheel and having to pedal your lumpy wheeled ass home...

for you youngsters.. here is the link for the new models of a classic now from Huffy http://www.huffybikes.com/greenmachine/products/greenmachine_details.html

wow thats funny! i was at k-mart i think when i saw a big wheel but it was alot better built than mine ever was. the front tire was a real bike tire like a 20" wheel i was amazed it took them that long to put a real tire on it. i tryed to ride but i'm just too damn tall! my girlfriend had a good laugh watchin me try and get on it

My local Honda dealer has a hi tech mx pogo stick. I was told the inventer was a guy 1 year ahead of me at my high school. It has bike handle bars, adjustable spring tension for adults or kids, and a rounded rubber foot for doing tricks. It's kinda like what happened with scooters has happened with a pogo stick. I'll try and get a web site for it. It's sells for $200.00.

wait till i get some vid footage of my 5 y/o son on his 49cc Quad.. I took the 15 mph governor out, removed the throttle limiter screw, drilled out the pipe and replaced the silencer with one off a KX 125, also hogged out the intake boot with a dremel, gutted the air filter and air box, and spun the carb needle valve on my drill press and put a more agressive taper on it. it started out with 2.9hp stock and who knows how much it has now (probably bout 5.5 or 6hp) but lets just say... it will bust a nice little roll on wheelie with my 189lb azz on it with almost no pull back on the bars. He does a wheels up launch on it and gets absolutely nutz on it in the turns just like the kid in that .gif. lol. The wife says i have to put the throttle limiter screw back in and fab a wheelie bar for it for he can't ride it anymore.
