I've noticed that some of the trucks on this site have had leafs removed from their rear suspension. What's the purpose for this? Is it to smooth out the ride? Adjust ride height? Better hook up when launching from the starting line? And are there specific leafs to remove? Just curious...

The only thing I can think of is that its for lowering purposes. The weaker the spring the more wheel hop and spring wrap. :D

Yeh it is mainly for lowering purposes. Mine has only one spring and a set of air shocks. I dont recommend it truthfully I have some hellacious axle wrap so thats the reason I have been looking at doing a 4 link or something along those lines.
