well the luv made it from caldwell to laramie!! he said that it ran pretty good the whole way there. we figured out that he was getting 16-18mpg. and thats at 7000ft elevation with bad rockers and crap gas.

his girlfriend told me that he gto ther about 11:30 mtn time.

he'll be getting his dorm all sorted out for a couple of days, and he might have internet acsess soon.

Well he should be there by now. I hope he got that heater fixed. He WILL need it in about a month or so.

Pee Roy, I know what you mean by leaving home. I did the same thing in 1984. Off to Phoenix Az. to diesel mechanics school. I was with 5 other friends from high school and we were only 6 hours away from home . So we ran home about one weekend a month. But leaving home and setting up in our own (4 of us) apartment was a real and quick growing up experience. You'll do great, enjoy and good luck to you.

Oh, and better leave that v8 in the parking lot on the icy days. 8O

Hey everybody! I know I haven't been on here for a while. I haven't had any acsess to internet 'till now. I am at the laundry mat right now. Yeah my truck is doing just fine up here, besides the crazy elevation, i guess it has a 22% lack of horsepower from were i was, because the air is so thin. Well I just thought I would check in. I will try to keep better track of whats going on if I can. Oh by the way gas is $2.65 here right now. Its a lot better than mostly everywere I have seen. 8)

So far wyotech has been pretty cool! I have learned so much just for being here a couple weeks. Everything is really fast pased and pretty challanging. I have never even touched a diesel before I got here, but I am doing good I got a 91% and my grade is still rising. Its amazing how much different the big diesel engines are compared to a small block chevy.

Pyles is a tard. He always says the same thing over and over again.

Yes Neil Isusu makes Durmax and Powerstroke is made by international.

I suppose I might be getting that Caddy of my grandma's. I guess my dad don't like it so he is going to sell it to me for a dollar. Its a very comfy car. I might like it. :D

And besides that I can't wait 'till Christmas :smt111

heck yes! i think you should get it. it would be a nice "family" car.

so internation makes powerstroke. dont tell TR. oh speakin of TR. he come over to my house yesterday with that POS camaro that used to belong to ireland. he thinks that thing is sooooo cool. he tried to do a powerbrake, but it just sat there. and speaking of TR again, i found out why the brakes went out on the drag car. i guess the little pin that connects the brake pedal arm to the master cylinder plunger came out. so there was really nothing wrong.

oh! me and cody went cruisin in the luv yesterday too. we went out past farmway and hes like, "lets see if the line lock still works." so he switches it on and does this huge 2nd gear powerbrake and then burned out for like 150feet. freaking badass.

well anyways. what are you guys doin for thanksgiving. i remember mike saying something about all of us up here comin over there.

When I went to UTI mechanics school in Phoenix in the eighties, Andy Granatelli (Tune Up Masters) came and talked. I just thought he made a lot of money changing air and fuel filters and spark plugs that probably didn't need it yet, or just covered up a bigger problem. Kind of like putting a band aid on when what you need is surgery.
