So Ive been getting pretty pissed off at work with all the crap going on there and have been looking for another job. Theres not much for jobs open around here so I havent gotten anywhere. So my wife says that it would be a good idea for me to open a daycare. At first I thought she was crazy but the more I thought about it actualy makes sence. Ive been at home with our kids for the better part of 4 years now, I teach sunday school at church and I help out with feild trips for both of my sons classes. Im good with kids and Im used to being home all day so I call a freind of mine whos had her day care for 3 years and it sounds like itll work out. I was surprised to hear that you can write off damn near everything like gas, electric, cable, any home improvements, ect. And the state will reimberse $300-400 a month for food if youre licensed, which doesnt take much. So at the beginning of Jan. Im going to be in business. Yee haa!

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Well, I got my oriantation for the state licensing set up and my wife found out one of her fellow teachers is certified to teach and certify C.P.R. And we got insurance to cover our butts. So things are moving along. Slowly but at least things look good. My brother inlaw had an interesting suggestion. "Mr Moms Daycare" Not very original, but not bad.

I went to the state licensing orientation yesterday. As anyone would guess, I was the only guy in there. Man there is literaly a book of paper work to do, physicals for everbody in our house,& cpr / first aid training. Not alot and mostly free so its all good. Getting it all processed takes 3-6 months! 8O Gives me more time than expected to get the house fixes finished.
