that tailgate looks sweet.. what kind of latches are you using? I have a bud with a 58 GMC 4x4 stepside in need of a tailgate. I'll have to show him what you've done and maybe inspire him to some construction

these are latches from a motorhome engine conpartment, check out the RV Centers around your area they are about $20-$80 a piece and come in different sizes these are from a 91-98 Safari Trek and where $20

I was looking for some type of hinge to use inside the tailgate to clean up the out side a little. I found a set of rear gate hinges from a Toyota Rav4 will work . The rear gates on those things are heavy so those hinges would definately hold up a Luv gate. It will take some time to get them to fit in some how. But I think the appearance will be worth it. I like the latches you used. I think Ill get a set of those.

Looks good. I like the way your switches came out. Those seats wouldn't be VW Recaro seats would they?

Oh I have 10 years on you,,, 52  Still trying to have fun.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
