Anybody know a ball park hp for a '69 small journal 327, bored 30over, whith 10:1pistons and a 650cfm carb.

A huge factor would be some cam info and head info. there are sites that you can plug all that into and they would tell you. also somone may have a computer dyno software. I dont anymore.

something to keep in mind- if you install all the current parts that edelbrock and holly offer ( a few thousand bucks worth of stuff) you can be in the 400+ WINDOW. take all that away and your running mainly stock, my GUESS is between 225- 300 hp. there is no way to accurately guess of course, you need more info. and even then its just a guess. thats the great thing about hi performance- its an endless debate.

well i asked the guys on a fullsized chevy web site about this motor and they said treating everything as stock exept what i said it should be making about
235hp at 4000rpm
357 lbs' at 2000rpm.

i ran it on my crappy desktop dyno. and setting everything as close to stock as i could i got
257 hp @ 4500
335 tq @ 3500
