I was behind a older style trooper the other day and noticed the taillights are the same as the ones on the 81-82 Luvs, my "?" is will trooper tailights hook up to a luvs harness or at least fit?

Yup, the 84-91 Trooper tail lights are the same exact ones used on 81-82 LUVs and 81-87 PUPs. So in that case it would be very easy to find replacements for a pickup if you can't find any pickups in a junkyard. I always tend to see at least one or two Troopers in every yard I go to.

That is nice to know from the other side too. I've got an 86 Trooper with a busted lens. Seems like some of the pickups have chromed trim around the lights too instead of flat black plastic.

I painted my chrome trim around my lights gloss black.
