My wipers are only going at the slow speed. I replaced the plastic things
that mount under the dash. with a metal set up. The shaft is also packed with Marine grease. So I am thinking either my switch has a problem,
or the motor might be going out.

Any suggetions?

Those motors only had 2 speeds... slow and really slow.

seriously if they are only working at one speed tho...id look at the switch first.

getting good voltage to the motor could be helpful also.
if you have stock wiring, and running other things ie. lights, heater, etc.... it may not be getting good voltage to the motor.
Have you noticed that it speeds up or slows down as you turn on more lights, or the heater?
