Not too bad! Have you tried using a longer exposure for the flowing water?
Are these medium format or 35mm? Also what film are you shooting?
I prefer using fuji velvia (don't tell anyone...I work for Kodak  ) for color and ilford films for b&w. I don't generally shoot color print films...

See there I go assuming again! 8)

Nothing wrong with digital. I just prefer film, kind of a dinosaur lol.
I do need to get a better digital though, I just have an old polaroid 810k (thats right, not even 1 megapixel!) that I use for ebay, quick test shots for landscapes/ plants and flowers and other non-moving objects...

to the cactus question it was only 2 feet tall if that. The big ones get holes in them from cactus wrens(our state bird kills our state flower hehe)

The digital camera i use is 2.2 megapixels im hopin to upgrade. oh and your camera sux hehe. i use a 1 mp and i hate the pictures i get.

FYI the cactus' will be blooming soon so i will get some pics of them and post it.
the water is from a "dry waterfall" that isn't dry right now, probably because of the rain and we got snow in the mountains a month or so back.

oh and the water shots, i love the pics with the long exposer times it makes the water almost look painted on.

I agree, pics with the moving water still in motion looks neat. But I also like pictures where the water looks like it was frozen in a crisp clean look. Anyways, pictures look good, post more!

well if you go up kiowa blvd. eventually you will find a road called bison. you go up it and it turns into a dirt road (it is BLM land) you follow the dirt road back to an old watertower (just the foundation is left) then you take a road down into the wash (here is where you need 4wheel drive most of the time cuz it is kinda sandy sometimes)go back in until it looks like your gonna run into a mountain and turn right (or at this time follow the water) continue down this path (it is rough at this time but manageable) then you will come to a wide open area with a waterfall that is normally dry. then if you brought a dirt bike or even a chevy luv you can go up and around on ether side and continue on a couple of miles to and abandoned mine (i've been in it twice you have to walk the last little bit straight up hehe)

anyway that is where i take some pictures
