me and the wifey found a house today.....i'm only renting it but it's a hell of alot better than living in the 10'x20' basement studio we have at the moment.

we went to look at it and the guy said i could work on my truck(yaaa!) and have a dog. $650 a month.....not bad... 1bd houses arpound here cost $1000+

here's the catch.......It's on a Cock farm....yea....no joke...a cock farm.....
the guy has a little under 1000 roosters.....all have little houses and leashes.

thank god the house is a good quarter mile from the farm side of the property........

sorry guys i'm excited and a little drunk so i'll end this ramble here.

What does he do with them? The only legal business I can think of at the moment is raising them for their feathers for fly tying and such...

there a few prize breeders and he sells alot overseas on a don't ask don't tell kind of thing.

dude also breeds great pyrinese(sp?) dogs, ya know...the big ass, fluffy white ones, i sound like my wife here, but this puppy he has is the cutest little thing i've ever seen.....little white puffball.......

i'm hoping they get along with my dog(puppy) she's a pit/akida/chow mix...looks like a medium haired pit with purple spots in her mouth. my buddie's dog (pit)had a litter with the neighbor dog while he wasn't looking.

it's not bad....the guy cleans up pretty good, that and there about 400 500 yrds away throught the trees and down the hill so you can barely notice them.


i have plenty of fertilizer for this years crop too(i do grow vegetables too)
this guy was cool he has no complaints about me having the garden to go with my med card....he did want to see it though.....

Well thats cool. I know there is a chicken farm around here and it smells so bad, worse in the summer, that you can smell it from the highway. I am suprised the city hasen't made them fix it. :?
