I live in Seattle. I have a 1980 Chevy Luv truck that I received from my Dad when he passed away. I have restored it to it's original condition and I intend to leave it that way. Since I have joined this bulletin board and have mainly just read and tried to learn from you guys. I now a question. Does anybody know of a tool box that will fit the bed of this truck. I have checked the boxes that they sell at Home Depot and Lowes, but they do not fit due to the wheel humps in the bed. I would appreciate any information. Thanks.

I haven't seen a truck box that would fit the bed of the LUV. But one of the small boxes that fit inside the bed would probably be your best bet. But check around you might get lucky.

I have a beat up old metal "Delta" box on mine. Same on fits my S-10 so it shouldn't be too hard to find on that fits. Mine is a bit shallow though so it might be a little harder to find.

I've had three different boxes that fit. We are talking the across the bed style where they sit on the edge of the bed rail, right? I haven't really looked for one in quite a long while, but I can't recall running into one that wouldn't fit.

Same here, got all kinds o boxes at my yard and they all fit the Luvs, most of them..... just use for storage now since all my tools have a nice warm garage to sleep in.

thanks for the quick reply on the tool box. you know i was trying to do this with a tape and it seems i was taking the measurements of the tool box in the wrong placeon the box i was able to buy a husky thanks for the help guys
