I just happened to find this place today, and I'm still grinnin'! I figured I'd say howdy and let everyone know where I'm comming from and maybe get some feedback on what's going on here.

As far as LUV trucks go, I'm on my 3rd (so to speak). I'm hooked on $300 diesels and running them INTO the ground. My daily driver is an 82ish LUV with seriously cheap mods to keep it running.

I noticed a lot of talk about SBCs into the LUV, but I'm wondering if there's much talk of poor folk just keepin' the things rolling? Any info here about that?

I think this site has a lot of everything for anyone with a LUV. The diesel and stock truck sections would probably cover your questions. I find the search button has answered 90% of my questions from items already posted. And if not, ask away. There are many very knowledgeable people on here.
