The starting of the TPI Swap friday dads gonna start without me... Dad sandblasted the tpi at work.. i got the wiring harness and ecu here. And ive got all new fuel lines coming(all under hood will be braided fuel lines) got a airfilter, fuel pump, throttle linkage, kickdown linkage, and fuel injectors comin... im flat ass broke now.. and once i get my paycheck sat. 100 more goes to dad damn i needa get more hours... well thats all i got to say right now.. ill update it with pics.. not gonna have a tons of pics but a few... hopefully it isnt gonna take all week..(thanksgiving break from school) so thats why were doin it now....
today after school i took all the bed bolts out, disconnected everything that needed to be disconnected to take bed off, took tailgate off, crap outta bed, and took bed cover off.. then dad got home n we took bed off. My fuel pump, air filter, kick down cable, and throttle cable came today.. heres some pics....

nice man!
did he bead blast the intake or sand blast it.....just be sure and clean it extra good if you sand blasted it.....sometimes it is hard to get all the sand out of an intake.

thanks, it was sandblasted, im sure its it was cleaned extra good.. dad has done quite a few intakes n other parts and never had probs :D

Got more done.. got the main tpi system on... still got fuel lines to run, fuel pump, filters, more wiring, blah. ill just post pics.. this things costin more money then expected.. but thats how evetything is :rant:

That looks great. Might be the angle but it looks like hood clearance might be tight towards the front. Hope it is just an illusion and your cowl scoop is enough space. It seems like your truck gets the most upgrades and work done to it of anyone around here, at least over the last year or so.

I dont think anyone has done so much modifications in such a short amount of time with a truck here. DAMN!!!
Did you have to fab special motor mounts to fit the TPI motor or will Hooker mounts work?
