 Post subject: I hate this!!!

finaly got somthing done to the luv got the 1.8 and trany out and finished the motor mounts (hand made) By the way
Get these dumb advertisments off!!!

hey do you all know if i take out the tranny crossmember and bolt it to the tranny and install the 350 and then weld it to the frame again will it all work?

Keep in mind that the same crossmember is where the tortion bars attach.

Why remove the x-member? It isn't difficult to install the motor/trans with it in. one of 3 things makes it pretty easy.
1 raise the front up on ramps and stab trans/motor in. OR
2 Cut out the radiator support and put motor/trans in (you won't need as severe an angle this way) OR
3 Remove the Cab and set it in place.
