Seen some killer racing last night.My friend John has finally finished his luv.Its a 75 350 sbc,177 supercharger and nos.He went up against Jose with the white luv.Jose blwe the tires offat the hit,Johns truck got the win light.Still a good race.............hope there will be a rematch soon.......................................

What does his truck look like? Would we know of him on the gossip page? Just curious. It's been a while since I've seen any luvs at the track. Seems like they're getting a little more scarce. I hope to have mine at the track by next year, but then again we've all said that before.

Im tellin ya, I tried like hell to have mine done before summer ended, just to atleast run it once on the track, and I missed it by about a week

Jose has the white luv,he held a street king spot on the gossip page for a long time.John has just finished his truck.Its only been out 3 times.Its black with a 6 " cowl with a mr gasket blower scoop sticking out of it.

Yeah, I'm familiar with Jose's white luv. I've understood that truck runs damn good. Are you any closer to getting yours together? I've been working on mine as much as I can, but it still seems like a big mountain to climb some days, ya know? Besides, I also have a 71 Chevy truck that I race on occasion that I've had for 10 years. I'm wanting to get it painted next spring, so we'll see how it goes.

I guess you can say I'm closer to finishing..............I ahve a larger pile of new parts....lol.I 2 have been building an old truck to race,bought my wife a 63 chevy p/u built a sbc with a b&m 144 supercharger and a 488/488 cam.Hoping to fire it up this weekend...,,,,,,,,,

Wow! Lucky wife! That sounds cool. I used to have a lowered 66 Chevy shortbed with a hopped up 292 six banger. It actually ran pretty good, but I had to sell it when I bought one of my other trucks. My 71 is a longbed, which makes me the oddball at the track. But it runs pretty well and for a heavy, fullsize truck with a mild 350, it 60ft's in the 1.67-1.70 range on the motor. I'm in the process of putting a 150 shot on it. It's definately different, plus it's a truck, which suits me. Sorry to ramble....forgot this is a Luvtruck site.
