Has anyone ever done a full window tint? I mean actually taking the window out and tinting the entire thing instead of tinting it while its mounted... It makes it so you dont have any peeks (you know what i mean, the spots you can see where the tint missed). I did that on my luv last night, got the rear windows taken out of both of my luvs (wanted to use the one in the parts truck) and the side windows, then got em tinted (2.5%, yes two and a half percent) and put back in, in only 2hours...... Everything looked pretty damned good for taking such little time, but after taking a friend up to the store, he got out and slung the seat belt around and it slammed into the window and ofcourse now I have one hella gash in my tint.... Anyone know how to fill the gash without making it look like crap... Oh and dont you just hate it when that happens....

That's how I did mine!! As for the rip, I think the best thing would be to rip it off and start all over, after you kick your friends butt first!

I hate it when people leave the windows in when they tint em, cuz it usually leaves a gap.... for some reason on my tint, the bottom edge of the side window started pulling up after I had it in, I think the window is pitted which allowed water to be held there and then when it got hot, it pushed a bubble up......

Needle it!
