What vehicles should I be searching on for door weatherstripping? Will any Chevy/Isuzu weather stripping work?

I hear troopers will work, but are a little long. Just have to cut the extra off.

I will start looking for some new stuff. The old stuff on the doors has shriveled up.

Try this URL out , I used them before to purchase door weatherstripping for my LUV. It's on page 35 in their catalog, runs about $1.50 per ft.

I went with a roll from JC whitney and it fit really well and seals the door nicely. I wouldn't bother taking weather stripping off of an old car because its a wear part. Not to mention, its pretty cheap to go new...

I definately am not going to be overly cheep with the junkyard stuff, I will get new. It takes 15 minutes to install it off a roll, and three hours to fish it out of the junkyard.

I guess I was lucky, I found a great set off a trooper, and could not have asked for a better fit. I did drill holes in the door and install new push-ins from the auto parts. Weatherstrip adhesive on the bottoms and where the ends met. Great shape, like new, $10.00, perfect fit.
