The search button would be an excellent place to start.

Is smog a concern for you?

cant go wrong with a k&n filter. they give you a gain in power but the big advantage is the way they supply VERY clean air to your engine. some folks think you get a 15 horsepower gain. well WRONG! you get a 15% gain in total horsepower and performance. i recommend these filters cause they are cleanable and have a million mile warrentee. ( i am almost there  ) seriously, for your engines sake and your carby's sake, get a k&n. oh yeah, i almost forgot, SAY IT WITH NITROUS!!!!!!!!

remember, not much at all in hp gain(for an 85 horse engine, 15% is diddly squat). thats all i have to say about that. (forest gump)

Previous owner port rounded a lincoln in a parking lot. anyway, I got a header from J.C. whiney catolog 2 years ago 114.95 it's made by pacesetter the people who make monza tips. It is a night and day difference in power. Hope this helps...

on my luv i have a 380cfm webber carb on mine a header (pulled it off a 77 it looks like the stock one but its aboput twice as big around) and i got an intake (just took the stock and had it smoothed out and enlargened like a port and pollish x2) and bore it .40 over. That thing is a monster i estimate its putting out anywhere from 110-140 hp and about the same for torque (but action is what counts and it pulls full sized trucks from mud pits  ). It is just realy hard to find parts for the 1.8L. If you whant a lot more power and havea little time and money the v-6 from 81-82 S-10s bolts right up just need to mod up some motor mounts.

I had dual side draft carbs on my 1.8 and 2.0. I still have the rare manifold for the G180 and G200 motors. I have never seen another one. I ran dual 44mm Mukuni carbs, header, milled and ported cylinder head, custom made cam, lightened flywheel, 5-speed transmission, electronic ignition with modified distributor. It was pretty fast for a 4 cylinder. It ran low 16's in the 1/4. It use to rev to 7500rpm!
