Does anyone make any drop spindles for the Luv? I want to lay some serious frame without air and without running 12" wheels like a mexi ride. You can only do so much with cranking the torsion bars down. I want to get the front really, really low. If anyone makes any or has any, please pass that info this way.

Or what about using drop spindles for an early P'up or S10?

I'm desperate here, HELP!

Thanks

Yeah I've called everyone in the phone book and nobody can get them and everyone says ixnay on the S10 or P'up spindels.

Besides tube chassis, air or body dropping, how can I get the thing out of the air?

I already have the torsion bars down all the way. It doesn't seem very low though.

Can you guys post pics of your slammed LUVS with the torsion bars down so I can compare?

Thanks

This is as low as I can go with the current rim/tire setup. It is sitting on the bumpstops, nice smooth ride!! :P My headders are about an inch from the ground.

I love low......low is good.....that photochop looks sweet....makes you want to lower it like that anyway. :D
hey wicked. does your front wheels rub anywhere?
I have 15x5.5's on the front of mine. im wanting to go with some 17x7's. Are yours 15's? im thinking if the 15's don't rub that the 17's won't either.

Yeah I didn't take into consideration the extra ~600lbs that I will have up front. I'm looking at mine now with no motor/tranny in it. So it will probably pretty good with the extra weight up front.

Thanks for the pics guys, sweet trucks BTW, both of em.

Here is what I want mine to look like:
(if this is your truck, thanks for the use of the pic, sorry for not asking 1st)

I tried to make it bigger but the stupid hosting site wouldn't allow it to be too big. Kinda sucks.

thats something I'm considering. Not right now, but in the future. I've heard its not as hard as you would think. Anybody with good measuring/math skills and good welding skills can do it.

Hey WICKED; what size cowl do you have on your hood? Is it a 4" or 6"? It looks good.

If anybody has a good tech article or a HOW-TO on bodydropping/channeling, hook me up PLEASE!

Laterz

body droppin isnt that hard, just get a stick of 2x3 tubing or something and tac it to bottom of the frame and cut all around the inside of body and then let it fall till it hits the tubing.. :) I have a 5" cowl hood.

http://www.s10forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18328 check that out for bodydropping how to's. you might need to register to see the pictures.
