do they make a kit for this or something? would the stock suspension hold a 472 BB caddy? with an aluminum intake and headers, it only weighs like 65lbs more than a stock sbc. dont some people just use the original suspension with sbc's? i would like coilovers though, they just look cool!

You can get coil over brackets that bolt on to your shock tower from any circle track store. Then you get a set of coil overs and ditch the tortion bars. What this does is open up the chassis for better clerance for exhaust and also lets you adjust your ride height via the nut on the coil overs. My 75 had a sbc w/ stock suspension. Now will have coil overs. Have the brackets in and saving for the coil overs(kinda expensive for me)

I don't see why that setup or the torsion bar setup wouldn't accomodate the caddy engine......there is one way to find out! :D
