what does the bottom of the spring sit on? theres nothing there, or havent ya finished it yet?

You going to post the conversion info up? It would help with me. (I just bought a working 76 from a DWI auction with new shocks and struts and new tires. $175 bux and drove it home with the grandson.

Wife was ticked. I have to go to the boneyard for a starter tho. The throw out gear is f'ed.

the coil sits in a supplied saddle. it comes with the shock.

yes it is instead of torsion bars. they are now cut out.

there are links on the 1st page to jegs where I purchased the shocks and springs. I got the 7" ones.

it sits about the same, but I haven't put any weight in to load the springs to see how much they will have to be adjusted. I am wanting it low, but can't really go lower than the bumpstops....lol

MEPR was wanting to do this to his 4X4 and after looking closely this coil over setup works only for vehicles that are stock height or lowered. sorry 4X4 guys.... :(

yes I do plan on taking it to shows....as an under construction until I get the thing painted and interior done like I want it.

as for trading it....I don't see ever parting with the thing. you will just have to work on yours to get it how you want it. :D
