 Post subject: Not a bad day at pnp

Two luvs at the local pnp one was a 80 4x4 and the other was a 79 long bed. Got the window from the 4x4 and also the door panels. Took the good and fender from the 79.

How hard would it be to remove the windshield?? Mine is cracked and the ones on both luvs where damn prefect.

I have done it a time or 2. Use a fresh razor knife and carefully cut the rubber seal off along the outside of the glass. Be careful not to scratch the glass. Once the seal is out of the way gently lift it out. You will need a new seal. Good Luck

I don’t need the parts but I hate to see these parts go to the crusher. The other fenders where in a okay condition but had dents to them no rust to them the grills are good tho but didn’t have the bow tie on them. The long bed is a great condition. I wouldn’t mind changing the cab from the 79 to mine since it was so straight and no rust
