It's a Dana 30, probably from a Jeep, modified to use the stock LUV 6-bolt rotors & calipers. Every 4x4 conversion kit of the day used a similar axle, LUVs, Ford Couriers & Datsuns used 6-bolt fronts to match the stock rears, Toyota used large 5-bolt fronts & a small-to-large 5-bolt adapter in the rear. The stock 2wd trannies were used along with divorced Dana 20 or Dana 300 t-cases. Everything came in kit form along with instructions, or you could order the kit pre-installed through the various dealerships. These haven't been available for over 30 years. The easiest swap now is a '79-'85 4x4 Toyota pickup/4Runner front axle- it's the right width & lug pattern & probably 4.10 ratio to let you retain the stock engine/tranny/rear axle.
