This has turned into a major build that was supposed to be a fast, easy, CHEAP build! I knew better! But, I am learning things fast and from making mistakes. I will have it together soon and we will see if it will do the trick for the need for speed. This is a few pics of where I started and where I am now. Thanks for any help!
They didn't turn out in order but, you get the idea!

Trying to get the fuel cell and fuel line ran. Just have to mount the bed first then set everything in and study where I want it to run!

I will keep plugging along and adding info plus looking for answers to my questions.
I finished plumbing the brakes and found to spots that I have to change for the rollcage mounting. Now onto the floor rust spots and tunnel area. Patching rust on one fender also. This truck had rust but, not to bad. 88000 original miles and I think I'm the 3 owner, 2nd owner started tearing it down not driving it.

Worked on the rusty floors yesterday and I am close to done on that part. Thank goodness! Because I don't bend like I used to! LOL Did the install of the steering column just for fitment and found another spot of rust between the master cylinder and column mount. That is going to be tricky to repair. I think I will wait till I pull the cab back off to fix it and slick the firewall up.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Accu-Form dash cap installed or mounting pics? I am thinking of using one to just cover my metal dash top. Kind of a hide whats there kind of thing!

I will post pics later of progress.

Just some of the repairs to the rust issues and a few more. All of this has to be remove after fitment to dress the firewall up and paint under the hood area. Then reinstall for hopefully the last time!

Boy I jump around on this truck more than any other project I have done! Floors are finished and the hump is done. Then I trimmed out the replacement door panels and removed the door rubbers. Now just to finish these parts and finish! Right!

Good looking door panels! I am finishing up the interior walls in my garage in hopes to get back to work on my LUV that presently is storage. Your posts remind me what I could be doing! Keep the updates coming....

Well as you know when you really don't know what you are doing! You take 2 steps forward and 3 to 5 steps backwards. I did not like the rear height so I decided to change it and I went backwards. LMAO! Now I am planning on redoing the shock mounts top and bottom. This was a ride height checker to know how much I have to drop it down. No it will not be this way when finished!

You have the "take 2 steps forward and 3 to 5 steps backwards" club there too? I'm a member of it here in whatever the project is! Guess that's what it takes to get the look/performance one is after....

Got the bed mounting points built and welded on. Fuel tank and trans cooler plus lines will be next to tackle, then I plan to mount and change steering column to mount quick disconnect and wheel. Then mount shifter to a stand and mount in the truck with the seats in place. Now I have a truck that is together ready to be pulled apart for frame painting and some more RUST repair!

Mounted fuel cell and built a battery tray.... twice! Now I can locate fuel pump and mounting bracket add the trans cooler and run all lines.

Finely found a good tailgate so I can button up the rear. Then it is onto the inside for several projects there!

These are all I have right now. Quick rundown of what you see. The 4" strap you see was the starting point I mounted it inside the frame on both parts and split the thickness between both ends of the frame. Then welded and added the gussets and fully welded it all and then cut the 4" out when finished.
