Hello all, going to pick up a 75 luv today, traded my 1953 mastercraft for it. It definately will need some work. Passenger floor board is rusted through has a few other rust spots but sjould be a fun slow moving project. Owner said it ran, but seems to be having electrical problems so we will see. My dream is to fix the rust and clean everything up and put a small block 283 or 327. But those are just dreams at this point. Any help on where to look for parts would be great!! Forgot to mention in Oregon

Welcome!

You posted that it's a 75,but the LUV in the pics is not a 75 unless someone swapped a lot of stuff on it.
The engine is a 76 or newer.
LUVs didn't come with an automatic tranny until 76.
LUVs had wing windows up until 77.
Round gauges rather than oval ones started in 78.
78-80 had the dual headlights rather than the quad setup.
And the front bumper is 76-80.

My guess would be it's a 78

Damn good lookin LUV though!!

Looked at title, it is a 78, got the interior mostly stripped last night, the dash is pretty bad shape, but i think with carefull trimming i could get a dash cap and make it look hood ad new. Just need to figure out the rust damage

those holes in the floorboard are pretty common, also on the bottom of each door if you want to look for that. I couldn't find floors already molded for my '75 so just tacked in some sheet metal from Lowes with Bondo to smooth it out, throw carpet over it. Not a restoration but it works. If you put some insulation between the floor and carpet or vinyl you still get a livable result.
