Thanks its been needing some attention & smog next moth so muffler had to be addressed, & 1 thing lead to another biut most was planned a while back.
Yes, mostly stock parts on this Luv. tire , wheel specks are nothing special picked up these path finders wheels at Pick N Pull for my 75 Luv yrs ago, tires 195 75 R14. I think they are a pretty standard sm tire size .....had some turbine rims on there for a while. tires on them were splitting & bald so was using these as they had good tread left for now & I will be putting turbine rims back on when they get some detailing . They were a little wider tire...& rim ?...working on the heater core & been cleaning up all those rust freckles on the hood & rattle can paint for now

Well got the heater core all back in & No heat ...warm defrost but NO heat...
Anyone been done this path ? ...any suggestions ?

I GUESS I will double check if the doors are opening & closing right as the heater core didn't leak nor did it seem clogged.
Then back flush the core while still in w/ the motor as well

Well took it all out again :econfused to swap back to the one i pulled out as i thought it was just dirty from the flood...
getting quicker at a heater core change that's for sure  done it in about 1 1/2 hrs out split the clam-shell case swap cores and all back in except for the passenger shelf
starting filling w/ water & the truck dies :esurprised so no checking for heat have to figured this out 1st...so started checking the obvious is it getting gas..seems like it do i have spark pulled a plug ground ...Yes spark is there pulled the cap check inside there i'm due for a tune up cap is a couple yrs old so scarped the contacts / along w/ sliding some sand paper between the points blew out the dust...& packed it all up for fresh eyes another day

Today i gave it some gas manually and it will run ...so pulled the fuel filer by the carb its getting gas but seems weak pulled the pump of my 4x Luv, turns out it was the fuel pump.
it makes the reg pumping noise & looks like it pumps gas but not sure of the pressure...so now i'm looking for a fuel pump for the 4x......anyone have a stock WORKING fuel pump ?

today i see the heater core dripping inside the cab so by passed the core w/ hoses for now ITS COMING BACK OUT

One of the stock pump started working but i can't rely on it so i went ahead & Picked up a Mr Gasket fuel pump, some new fuel line.
Heater is still by passed and out, I think i'm going to re foam the flaps inside. The foam isn't the best after 40yrs, beside the floods she was in 10yrs ago...also have the intake out and Now cleaning up the engine.. Hell I pulled the oil pan off to :) ...you just get carried away reworking an area...all i wanted to do was check the egr for carbon build up before smoging...

Well last month SMOG was due so wanted to make sure the egr was clear before doing smog test so pulled the carb intake and egr off figured i'd put some new gasgets and clear her up again..the egr was clear but running w/ a split muffler for a while i figured i needed to confirm this before the test

so after all this fun i've been having w/ MS SUNSHINE it was time to take her out & enjoy a trip to TAHOE
to see my son before snow sets in up there & apparently i left in time as that night they got 6" on snow.

I got 19.58 mpg on the way up w/ a load of fire wood & 24.14 on the way back...21.xx average.....Over 375 miles
and that new fan sure came in handy going up that mountain.
