I haven't even bought the truck yet, because I need to determine how much work it will need, and it's several states away. All repairs seems fairly simple except for the floor pans. I'm gathering they don't make repalcements, so need some quick advice. I don't mind spending money but cannot get too upside down because I'm doing two other restorations right now that has me tied up. Thanks for any help, the sooner the better helps me so I don't tie the reseller up too long.

1) are pans available?
2) are S-10 pans (of available) a substitute?
3) if custom is needed like I expect, are there any links to the job? All links I found here don't have any pics.
4) doesn't need to be perfect, just close to work with interior, carpet etc, so any pointers are appreciated
5) if anyone has some for sale and can ship (I'm in Louisville KY) or pickup if close.
6) does the cab need to be removed or can if be done with cab in place And just jacking up where needed?

1 No.
2 Not really
3 Photobucket screwed the links. I replaced them in one of mine, and made the tunnel bigger from a different donor, need to rehost them
4 A sheet metal shop should be able to bend up some
5 Hopefully someone will have some.
6 They can be done with the cab on

Mytmouz, thanks for the direct answers. But how is it done with the cab in? I assume I lose the doghouse, and then what? Jack it up slightly to weld underneath it is all welding done inside? Do I have to disconnect steering, dash wiring, anything else?

Gasto, so what did you have done there? Did you have an existing pan and it was fabbed up from that? Or do you just want to sell those to me? Lol Any info on what you did is appreciated. I haven't seen the car yet and have registration issues to deal with bringing an out of state car in. A wobbly cab isn't helping any.
