I picked up this 72 a couple weeks ago. It is a nice solid truck as far as rust goes & is strait. It is already set up for a 1st Gen small block. I have a pretty good start . It has a 12 bolt positrac in it still have not checked to see what gear is in it. I got the headers radiator and all the mounts with it. I plan on staying with a 1st gen small block. It will be a slow process. I have have several motorcycles I need to finish & get for sale & then I can start on this. I buy & sell a lot of bikes so the truck will get worked on inbetween bikes. I will start cleaning & painting on it first before I worry about finding a motor to build. I have been painting for years so don't have to pay for that.

Welcome, Great to see another 72 owner. 8)

It looks like you have room for a big block with all of that firewall work.

Thanks for the welcome ! I am sure there is room for a BB but I am going to stick with a small block for the time being.

Got to work on the truck a little more. I got the frame & firewall painted & the motor sitting in it. It has been a long time since I had my other V8 Luv my other one was not set up like this one the motor in this one was moved back a good 3 inches.
