Words to live by for sure! Plus what is more fun that that? I use the concrete cutting variant of that saw pretty often at work tons of fun

Looks like you are making some good progress!

Now I have to get the bed lowered and right. Then I still have to make all cab/bed mounts. I like a challenge.

Getting closer. Need to raise the cab 3/4" because the bed is on the frame and will come up 1/4" when mounted. Check out my Stainless steel bumper. Been sitting here for years.

No Progress to post about. Working 60 hours a week doesn't leave much time for anything else. I will get back to work on it soon.

Had a little extra time today so I set a 350 with T5 to get some measurements for mounting the cab. Still needs a lot of work to fit it all together. I have wrist surgery Wednesday so it will be a little while before I have anything to update.

im looking to do a s10 swap on my 80 Mikado long bed...just wondering what all mods you had to do to the frame as far as getting the body on...have to narrow it any lengthen and shorten body mounts to get it all square..that kinda stuff...I haven't found many detailed forums threads or anything on the topic and you seem to be making solid progress..any help is appreciated, im hoping to be able to do a detailed thread with better punctuation and grammar for anyone who jumps on this bandwagon once it takes off lol best of luck to you and your project keep in touch

Well I haven't mounted the body to the frame yet. I put a 1994 350 with a wimpy S10 T5 in it to get clearance for everything before I make the cab mounts. I will have detailed pics of how I mount it to the frame in a week or 3. Wrist surgery Sux.

I would call that thing a trike but the front wheel will probably never touch the ground

I know what you mean. But I filled the all the metal tubes and main 3×4 frame with 113 pounds of steel. Should be ok. Motor is only 375lbs.
