Would like to do this to my 4x4, but Troopers are a bit hard to find around here.
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20927&p=152204&hilit=isuzu+ball+joints#p152204Years ago, (ouch) I had a 85 Nissan 4x4, put a three inch body lift on it along with helper springs and torqued the torsion bars up and managed to get 33's on it. Problem was there was no good way to fix the camber issue which was really bad, so eventually I had to loose the 33's and settle on 31's. During this same time my cousin had a 81 or 82 4x4 LUV that he put a 3" body lift on, over time the metal around the cab body bolts started to crack and became a bit of a problem, not sure what he did to fix it.
I'm thinking of pulling the body lift off mine, (was not done well to begin with) and just do a slight suspension lift. It looks like changing the upper control arms and ball joints might do this without having the major problem of the tires "Butterflying"
