can anyone tell me where to get a rocker guide for a stock motor--new or used. i am having trouble finding parts and info-

Not sure what a rocker guide is, can you explain or post a picture? I have a few head parts laying around from the last stock engine I rebuilt.

yah---its the part that sits on the end of the valves after the valves are assembled. its round with a slot for the rocker arm to ride in------this is the overhead cam motor---thanx

Now this is the third new thread you started on this topic. The rocker guide you need is the same for a 72-75 LUV. This is the early engine and not a lot around for parts. My best advise is to locate one in a junk yard, this might be your only bet.

Also, all stock LUVs had overhead cam engines.
