Hi, thought I'd post some pictures of my attempt at doing a diesel swap in my Luv. I'm using a 2.2 Isuzu with a custom turbo and a T5 tranny out of a s10.

Edit. Are my pics upside down?

When I click on one to expand it, it's right-side up. I'm guessing it has something to do with the EXIF metadata that's part of the image file header. And I'm guessing you shot them with a smartphone. Most phones shoot in "portrait" mode by default because the screen is laid out that way. So you have to turn the phone one way or another to shoot in "landscape". The phone senses this, but it apparently got confused.

Some photo editing programs will correct this.

Ok I'll try to get some more pictures and hopefully i can get them right side up. The engine is in the drivers side mount fit perfectly but the pass side only caught the bottom half of the mount. The shifter is lined up dead center. The only problem I had is the turbo hit the brake master cylinder I swapped the brake cylinder out of the donor truck.

Would someone have a pic of how the hydraulic clutch is conected to the clutch pedal.

I don't have a picture but I think it's just a pin. In the info section of this site is a parts book, the drawings will be there. All of your pictures are right for me.

Interesting manifolds. Did you make them?

What size turbo are you using?

Eric, your question about the vacuum pump (from the other topic) is easily answered here. It's visible in the photo above. It's the belt-driven diaphragm pump between the head and the cone filter.

The previous owners brother made the manifolds. The turbo is a Garrett GT2052s. It makes about 6 psi @60 mph on flat ground and on a hill at the same speed it will do around 10psi.

I'd be interested to know why the intake manifold was replaced.

It was originally n/a so a new intake had to be made for the turbo.

Got about 600 miles on it and it's running great but I have a fuel leak from the injection pump that I need to fix after I figure out where it's coming from.

Also made a hitch for it.

I spent a little over a year slowly working on it.
