Ok so i believe water went inside my engine thru the oil cap hole after some "profesional" guys washed my engine. Some people told me to get an oil change, so when i turned on my truck to drive to the nearest shop my truck started shacking and it suddenly turned off. I tried turning it on but it wouldnt turn on it just kept trying to. It got to the point where the battery died after so many attempts of trying to turn it on, What do u guys think happened? Is my engine screwed? Is draining the oil myself and putting new oil in gona fix the problem? I really need helpi

No time to panic just yet. Most likely just got water inside the distributor cap. Professionals should have carefully covered all that up before washing the engine. Just remove the cap and wipe everything dry inside or maybe use a blow dryer. You may have to do it more than once because any moisture left inside will condense when it heats up inside and thus may stop you again. After it dries you will be fine.

Whats the worst that can happen, and the reason why?

The worst that can happen is it will just stop running like it did. After everything electrical dries out you will be fine. No permanent damage to anything.

I guess it depends how much water is in the engine. :) Ok, J/K. I think egg is correct. I had the same thing happen with my Luv many times. If water gets anywhere near the condenser, it stops working. Give it some time to dry up, then give it another try.

Putt the distributer cap and wipe it out with WD-40. The WD stands for water dispersant.

Ok so this is weird, apparently the guys washing the engine had nothing to do with my Luv not turning on, someone told me to put carb spray in the carb, so I did it and the truck would turn on for 2 seconds and then turn off every time I did it. So I had a mechanic check it out and it happend to be my fuel pump!!!!!! So basically it was a huge coincidence that my fuel pump went out the same day the guys washed my engine!!! How weird is that?????!!!!!

So now my truck is up and running again!!!!!! :D
