This last one is what I'm thinking of to mount the steering shaft eyelet. Cardboard for reference.
Should I keep the plan of mounting the eyelet to the body or would I be better off mounting it to the frame?

Not likely. Still have quite a bit of stuff to do to the truck just to get it running let alone driving. If I had to guess I would say I still have like 3k in parts that are needed. IRS, custom driveline, brake master and associated lines, fuel pump and lines, wiring throughout the whole truck, exhaust, intercooler and piping, oil cooler and lines, clutch master and pedal assembly, heater box for the cab plus ducting, power window conversion, seats, and the list goes on, but you get the idea. I think I might have it running by winter and driving by spring/summer.

No real updates. Haven't touched the truck in months, no motivation to work on it.
If you you ever want to come see it in person, let me know and we can work out a time.

I enjoyed reading through your build, lots of great custom work & fabrication. Hope you get your motivation back soon, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Been sidetracked with another truck that I bought from one of the people here on the forums. Glad you enjoyed the build so far, more to come I can assure you that.

Had a little motivation and decided to finish up the radiator shroud. (Was an ebay special so, naturally the brackets didn't line up. Had to cut them off, re-position and re-weld them in the correct orientation.)
Also, was finally able to order the rear suspension. (88-96 C4 Corvette).
