Who can tell me what kind of nozzles the 2.2l Isuzu engine has and what can I do to upgrade?

What do you mean by "upgrade"? This isn't a common rail engine, it's just a simple old mechanical beast. The nozzles are sized to match the pump's output. I'm afraid an change would be for the worse.

Are you having issues? The injectors can get worn and crudded up over time. IF you're having issues related to that, any diesel shop can overhaul them. Most overhauls include new pintles, but not new nozzles. A shop will normally charge around $160-$200 for a set of four. If you need a recommendation for a shop, I can recommend a couple--one on the west coast, and one in Memphis.

Even if you're having issues, there some other possible causes that I'd want to rule out before blaming the injectors.

I have #3 right now that is creating a misfire. I will try and clear that up this week with an additive cleaner. If need be, I will tear them down and clean them out, but I would rather replace them with new ones. I will be rebuilding the nozzles myself. All I need is the part numbers for the nozzles and the tips if you have them.

Yep, if one cylinder isn't firing and compression is good, it must be the injector.

I was unaware that the nozzles were a separate part. I'll ask around and see if I can get the numbers for them. What are you calling "tips"? The pintles?

Do you have a pop-off tester?

I'm researching the part info. In addition, whenever you remove one, there's a crush washer that should also be replaced.
