You opened pandora's box with that stuff. You need all those wires and stuff to make it all work together. The computer controls everything. Timing, fuel management, airflow, etc. The mass airflow sensor gives a reading to the computer, as does the throttle position sensor. The cpu in turn gives a signal to the injectors, and the coil packs telling them to squirt and fire. It is much more compicated than that, but you get the idea. If you remove the fuel injection, you still have the problem of no distuibutor. They have either 4 or 8 coil packs, and no dist.
