Hello everyone, my name is Chris. To make a long story short, my father sold the love of his life (other than family), his Chevy Luv Street, back in 1995 in order to put a down payment on the house I grew up in. To this day he still talks about his Luv. He bought it new back in 1974 and built it into a streetable drag truck. The list of identifiable mods done to the truck include (and I may not be 100% accurate since I was young when it was sold): LT-1 engine, with a holley fuel injection setup, 3 speed trans with a Z-gate shifter, dutchman ford 9in rear end... and the list goes on. The paint scheme is a dark blue metallic, with two black stripes down the middle. The interior has a matching blue crushed velvet seat. I'll post pictures of it when I dig them out of the photo albums and scan them. Basically I'm hoping I can find it, buy it back from whoever owns it, and gift it to him for his 65th birthday. He made a huge sacrifice for my mother, brother's, and I; and I can't imagine a better gift.

Some specifics as far as I know:
Sold to a man named Ed Bryant possibly owned a Hardware Supply Store in town
in Stanwood WA
Around 1995
Blue with Black stipes
Street / stepside body style
Heavily modified
REWARD To person(s) who can give me any info or leads as to bringing it home again.

Please reply to this thread, or message me, I will get back to you asap. Thanks for your help fellow Luv truck lovers.

-Chris

Cat was our step side man. He had pictures of every one he found on the web or in person. He has not been around in a while. Try to message him and see if you get a reply. He, in my opinion will be your best bet.

Didn't have time to hook up my scanner before heading to work today, so I snapped a few pictures of the pictures, with my phone. Not the best quality, but definitely identifiable.

Thanks for the tip Luvrv8, I'll try to get in touch with him.

Darn, the search continues. Kinda hard to contact the old buy since his Hardware store has since closed, and I can't get a good number. Heard he's a well known individual in the area, so maybe I'll get lucky with other Bryant phone numbers.

Thanks for looking though.
