I wanna get a cab visor for my truck, but i can't find one. I'm talking about the one that goes on the outside of the cab above the windshield. I was thinking maybe I could pull one off an s10? Or maybe even an astro van. Anybody custom make one? I don't have access to a metal press

I don't have any answers for you but when I saw that most of them required drilling holes and screwing the visor to the roof I got kind of scared. I have enough water coming into the cab via factory holes...

Are you thinking metal or fiberglass?

I have a metal louvered one I "MIGHT" part with if the price is right. You have to drill 6 fairly big holes in the roof and pillars.

Thank goodness it won't fit a Luv. If you were building a "Star Wars" tribute truck it would be a must have,

If we can install all kinds of equipment on top of a airplane, fly into rain storms and have no leaks I am sure with care the visor could be leak free.

If you are still interested I happen to have a fiberglass visor that fits the 72 thru 80 luv cabs. If you want a pic I can post. I have decided not to use it.
I also have a chrome billet grill to replace the factory black grill, but it will only work on the single headlight trucks not the dual headlights. Let me know if interested.
Mike.
