I wonder what a Ford Ranger stepside would look like on a luv? The dimentions on them couldn't be too far off. Anyone else ever thought of this?

Of course, I mean without the ugly-ass Ford emblem.

There's one for sale here

I have been thinking of buying 2 new S-10 stepside bed sides and building a bed.I think it will be narrower than a factory S-10,but cab to wheel distance looks close.I have looked at both ranger and S-10 and believe the S- 10 will work better because they are metal and the ranger are fiberglass.
I am going to do the bed last so I still have plenty to do for know.

I wonder if he'd be willing to ship one of those halfway across the country for a reasonable price... Out here, I'm thinking the stepside wasn't much of an option, the only place I have ever seen one has been on ebay (on a complete truck of course, not for sale individually)

What's the phone number to that junkyard? I'd pay $200 bucks and some mild shipping charges if the bed was in really good shape.

the number is 274-2259, california stepside used to make them for the luvs. i don't know if they still do or not but u could order them through the dealerships. the stepsides have a little surface rust in the bed but thats about it. theres a couple with sliding rear windows but are missing the latch on both of them. but i also found a header for one in there but i snaged that one. but they have alot of parts for the luvs hope this helps.
