I have a 1980 Luv, 4x4, stock, with the 1.8 4-cyl, one day it just decided not to work anymore, found out that most of my electrical system is fried. There's one part it I can not find at all on the internet. Sit on the passenger side right in front of the wind shield wiper reservoir, just on top of the wheel well. Any help?

Yes, it is, just a simple metal rectangular box that have, I believe 3 or 4 wires coming out the front of it. And where is this wire diagram exactly located?

File comment: This isn't my truck, but it was the closest thing I could find to an engine compartment I could find, it's the metal box sitting right behind the windshield washer reservoir

Pull that metal box off and you will find some relays under it. They are the fuel pump relay and the coil resistor bypass relay.

Also involved in that circuit is the alternator. The basic idea is that the relays allow the fuel pump to run when the key is turned to start, or the alt is spinning. The pump shuts down when the engine stops in case of a wreck to prevent fire. They also bypass the resistor on the coil when the key is turned to start to give a bigger spark for starting. Then, the relays switch over to run power to the coil through the resistor when the motor is running.
