Turbo Impulses do exist at least, I had a chance at one long ago that I passed up. It was quite a drive away, not running, and more of a project than I wanted to play with at the time. Had I realized then how rare it was I probably would have gotten it just because. The real funny thing is, rare used to be part of their marketing.

Stock compression ratio on the 1.8L is 8.5 to 1, 8.2 to 1 on the early style LUV motor. I dunno what the impulse turbo 2.0 runs for a ratio.

BTW, rated HP on the 2.0L turbo impulse is 140, according to the specs on the 88 model. That is a few more than even the GM 2.8L V6 and the 2.6L 4cyl later used in Troopers and other Isuzus. It even managed to get mileage rates of 21 city 27 hwy.

That is the truth. I was never even looking till I got the call one day. Thanks again Jon. Pics will be up today. Hell the seats are even in good shape under the seat covers. It is a great find. The coil is missing from the engine though, I will have to get a new one. Thanks again bud

20 psi, on the stock bottoms, with cylinder pressures of 170 psi plus bone stock? I have a spare 1.8 when you shell yours. I will make you a good deal.
