Hello,
What most doing about the cracked dashes in these trucks? I see the dash caps available online, but mine has cracks further down than the cap will cover. Thanks

Dashes are like hens teeth. If one does show up expect it to go go north of $500.

Thank you. I saw a NOS one on Ebay last year and it was up to $600.00 and climbing. Should have kept watching it.

I chopped the top half of my dash off and made a new one by using aluminum flashing with black leather locktited to it. The flasing is easy to cut and bend into most any shape, definitely not professional, but it is cost effective and requires little skill.

I know right?
Mine is cracked to hell and back.. and every luv I have ever seen has the same problem.
Mine has several small cracks, but there is one right above the gauges that is like two inches wide. I just put a pretty coloured bandaide over it for a while, but then I found a dash cap at salvage for a couple of bucks.

The cap doesn't exactly snap snugly into place though, a lot of glue was used to keep it down and it still is rattly.
