Very nice build 8)

A new 2012 Luv, built better than any from the factory ever was. This was a great thread to follow and a roadmap for others to build off of.

drummerforhire and all others if interested . rear wheels 15x8 with a 5.25 backspacing and a 6x5.5 wheel pattern , rear tires are 255/60 r15 br goodrich ta radials . front wheels are 15x6 with a 4in backspace and a 6x5.5 wheel pattern tires 205/60r15 bfg's . if we did it again we would have put a 16th more backspacing on the rear wheels and shaved the lip in the wheel well just about half of the lip , im talking the body lip in the wheel well . on the frame to run this big of a tire there is a round cross member that well have to be shaved down , you wont have to take it all just shorten it a littel and make it smooth . oh ya the wheels are called smoothies . we got them from summit racing online price 402 for the four wheels shipping to the door . I hope this helps thanks kelly

seeings as im explaining thinga michell told me i should explain the hood insulation to yall. what we did was get the insulation witch was one big peice , then we made templets of the pieces that we wanted to fill and cut them out and then michell sewed the edges with what she calls a blanket stitch [ a setting on her sewing machine ] and then we glued them on with 3m extra strengh heat resitant clue and there ya go .

Awesome. Thank you for the information. Those are the wheels and tire sizes I wanted, I just didn't know how wide I could go. I have a stepside bed so I'll probably have to stick with 235s.
