so the problem your having is when you try to call down the thunder you get more of a firecracker? no power under load on a hill or acceleration or on flat land and cruising as well?

If this ever happens your fuel line under neithe are steal and the exhaust is turning the gas into a vapor after it goes threw your fuel pump or before to fix problem. I switch the whole fuel line to gas made piping made for gas to go away from the exhaust pipe also moved my fuel pump into the engine bay away from the hot parts next to my electric fan does not lag going up hill or going at high speeds

hows your fuel pressureand fuel pump mine burnt up a few pumps because i didnt wire a relay and when they are going out the truck will be jerking really hard going down te road as it gets and starves for fuel...
and then it will just stop going... lol

could be a clogged jet? or maybe it is a bit out of adjustment
