I just received my Offy manifold but there are 5 extra inlet/outlets and I'm a bit confused. There are two large water jacket outlets one in the center on the side that faces the engine, the other on the rear next to the throttle return spring bracket. There are two smaller holes that are just larger than the bolts the rest of the manifold uses on the front and rear of the carb flange (the woman at the parts store said they're line threads), and then there's one final deep set hole on the side of the carb flange that looks like it connects in with all the egr passageways. Do you know what these are supposed to be for because they don't match anything I have on my manifold. If you know the threading too that would be helpful since none of the auto parts stores here carry any plugs that fit.

Also does anyone know where to find the elbow that connects the intake manifold to the heater hose? Mine self destructed when I attempted to remove it.

Thanks.

There is a pic of the mahifold on the link, what holes are you talking about? You have a heater hose hole, a by pass coolant hole.

Here are the holes. I know they just need to be plugged since there's no corresponding inlet/outlets on the stock manifold, but the auto parts stores have been useless in locating the plugs I need. One post in the Offy thread mentioned they just used NPT pipe fittings but the pipe fitings the parts stores tried didn't work. Is it possibly just a rough casting that needs the threads chased?

If you read that post all the answers to all your questions are there. Remember you have a heater hose, by pass hose, vacuum line for the power brakes. All of this is covered in the thread.

Yeah, the problem is I only have access to the internet for about 30 minutes 2x a week until I get my computer back, so I don't have much time to dig through that thread. I was hoping somebody knew what the thread pitch is so I could order the parts, since the parts stores in this town are completely worthless. I've epoxied the smaller holes shut, but I don't think I'd trust Quick Steel on the larger water jacket openings.
