If you don't want to use larger tires, the only thing left is to find a transmission from an '86 or '87 4wd P'up (they were all 5-speed). And they don't just bolt up, you have to relocate the rear mount and modify the driveshaft. I'm not sure if the front driveline will require any modification, but this swap has been done. Finding the correct transmission is the hard part. Just had a
